Here is the new release of Nippon 1.2. We have tried to fix all the problems we had encountered with version 1.1. Formula Nippon has gone through significant changes in 2006. Some of the changes are: a new Lola Chassis and two new engines. One would be a V8 3L Toyota RV8J and the other V8 3L Honda HF 368E. These changes allowed us to completely re-do Nippon 1.2 from ground up. We decided not to call it Version 2.0 because we didn’t have the adequate body Model for these babies …HINT… if there are any modelers out there who would like to create a body for us, that would finally complete this Mod. LOL, I have driven these cars for the last 7 months and I think we have gotten it as close as we can to the real Formula Nippon ‘feel’. Modeling: Nunux I want to say Thanks to Nunux and his team for allowing me to use his GP2 2005 body. He has such detail in his work………simply awesome!!! Hint: Maybe one day he can do a true Nippon body design………PLEASE! Rims / Steering Wheel: Mati You did a fantastic job on the steering wheel and Rims. Thank you for your help. Sounds:Vassalfada To the ‘guru’ of sounds Vassalfada, for his contributions…even though he had a plate full of other projects, he took the time to help me with great Nippon tunes… Physics: Fditolla, TechDaddy Words cannot describe Fditolla, …He has helped so much and actually he is my physics teacher, and at times we are so close on ideals its kind of spooky!!! The things that would take me two weeks would take him 10 minutes…LOL…. It’s been 2 long years Buddy. We make a great Team!!! Now lets get started on our next project. Paint & Body: TechDaddy, Subterranean The Paint I think is the most work of all, and especially on these cars because there is little to none information on Nippon. We had such a hard time finding pictures, logos, etc,. Alex had come in and asked me what car he needed to do and I gave him the hardest car to paint just to see if he would do it or get scared of the work and go away…NOT Alex…the man gave me that car back in 4 days and was eager to do more…so he is truly a Team member and will be involved on our next project. Thank You Alex aka Subterranean. Beta Testers: TechDaddy, Diswanio, Fditolla, Subterranean, Mullog Diswanio AKA: Nutcase!! LOL…. This is one funny dude. He has called me DiddyDaddy, TrickDiddy, TechDirtyDaddy, PuffDaddy, BigDaddy…you name it!!! They need to lock you up and throw away the key…hahahahaha…Your real racing experiences helped me in Beta testing. Taking those 60 lap races really helped me iron some tire issues.
